Shaoan Zhang Research on Teacher Self-Disclosure is Published
Assistant Professor Shaoan Zhang recently published a study in an established international refereed journal, Journal of Education for Teaching: International Research and Pedagogy (JET) in Vol.35, No.3, August 2009. The article is entitled: Appropriateness of teacher self-disclosure: A comparative study of China and the USA . The study was co-authored with two other scholars, Dr. Qingmin Shi from UNLV, and Dr. Shiqi Hao from University of Massachusetts, Boston. This comparative study investigates how culture accounts for teachers’ use of their personal information and makes contributions to teaching and teacher education in both China and the U.S.
