Assistant Professor Hasan Deniz recently published a study in the top rated science education journal, the Journal of Research in Science Teaching (JRST). The study was entitled: Exploring the factors related to acceptance of evolutionary theory among Turkish preservice biology teachers: Toward a more informative conceptual ecology for biological evolution. The study was co-athoured by Lisa A. Donnelly of Kent State University and Irfan Yilmaz of Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey.

Dr. Deniz joined the C&I faculty in the Fall of 2007. He completed his PhD at Indiana University.
