Licensure Programs:
- Graduate Licensure Program (GLP) The Graduate Licensure Program is a graduate program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) leading to an elementary or secondary teaching license and a Master of Education (M.Ed.)
Specialized Programs:
- Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL): Offered in collaboration with Clark County School District.
Secondary Education - Teaching Fields Listed below are the current secondary licensure program areas offered through the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Please check your program area for specific course requirements.
- Art

- Social Studies
- Science has several comprehensive fields (36-credits):
- Single subject science fields are met by having (1) a bachelor's or master's degree in the science content area or (2) 30 semester credits in the subject area:
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Earth Science
- Physics
